We strive to ship all orders as fast as we can with the best couriers by AIR to most pin codes. However – as we list & book products which are under pre-booking the Delivery time can vary between 1 Week to up to 4 weeks. There can be times when you ordered 2 or more products – in such cases you may receive the product at different times as per stock availability and through different courier partners.
“Original Suits & Dress Material” are mostly sold-out during the pre-booking period only, so we would suggest you book your order as soon as possible to avoid delays and plan well in advance if you are placing an order for an occasion. In addition to this “TENTATIVE SHIP DATE” and “TENTATIVE SHIP TIME” are generally mentioned under the “Product Description” section on every product listed on the website as given in the example below:
Below are approximate timelines by which you can expect the delivery:
- Ready to Ship Products – within 1-2 weeks
- Pre-Book/Upcoming Stock – within 2-4 weeks
- Stitching Orders – within 2-6 weeks
Please note that the Order Status may show PROCESSING even if your order has been packed or shipped till the time you receive the delivery. Processing may not necessarily mean that your order has not been shipped.

Delivery time for International Delivery (Outside India) will be between 10-45 days.

What is Our Exchange Policy?
OUR 10 DAYS NO QUESTIONS ASKED RETURN POLICY – IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR PURCHASE – GUIDELINES GIVEN BELOW:
- Only Unused and Unstitched Dress Material can be returned if informed on the same day of delivery via email at [email protected]
- The product should reach us within 10 days from the date of delivery on our return address that we will send you an email.
- Once we receive the product we will arrange for exchange or refund as per your request.
- Refunds will be done in form of store credit/coupon only which will be valid for lifetime.
- Made to order products like Bags, Footwear, Stitched Products cannot be refunded or exchanged.
- The return cost will be borne by the customer.
When is a Cash refund available?
Cash refund to the original mode of payment will be processed if:
- The product was not available with us and was not dispatched
- Replacement not available
Which Items can be exchanged?
All items (except sale items) can be exchanged. Any items in the SALE category cannot be returned, canceled, or exchanged.
Items cannot be exchanged?
- Products in the Sale category.
- Any product on which you ordered stitching service from us.
The final price of exchanged products should be equal to or more than the price of returned items.
When will the replacement product be shipped to my address?
Exchanged product is dispatched as soon as the returned items have passed product inspection. Generally, we won’t take more than 72 hours after the delivery of the returned item.
Are there any charges for Exchange?
There is no charge for exchange. All you need to do is to return the original item and exchange it for items of the same or higher value. In case you choose an item of higher value, you can pay the differential amount as cash on delivery (COD) or we can issue you store credit coupon code worth the price of the item that has been returned. COD and cash handling charges are non-refundable.
Exchange of Wrong or Damaged Product:
We take utmost care while shipping your order however there can be times when you received a defective or a wrong product.
You can exchange in the unlikely situation in which we have sent you a defective or wrong item as per our exchange policy mentioned above.
In a rare case you have received a defective product or a wrong product, please immediately notify us (within 24 hours) by sending an email at [email protected] and attach the “Digital” pictures of the product received as evidence.
What will not be considered as DEFECT :
- The difference in shade/tone
- Beads coming out
- Extra accessories missing (not supplied by the designer)
- Little portions of threads coming out
- Tassels or Buttons not supplied by the designer. In such cases, you can ask your tailor to include it at the time of stitching or you can ask us to include it if you by our stitching service.
- Dupatta Edges in not proper shape. This is not a defect as normally unstitched fabric may not necessarily have finely finished edges. This can be easily taken care of through “Picko” at the time of stitching.
Usually – Minor issues can be taken care of at the time of stitching. If you want your dress to look exactly like shown in the picture- we recommend that you buy our professional stitching service. You can learn more about it here.
Preparing for Exchange:
Kindly send the material back to us at the address we will give you using the Indian Postal Service or any courier of your choice.
The shipping cost for returns/exchange for any reason will be borne by the customer. Kindly mention your name , contact number and order number on the courier bag. The returns parcel should reach us within 10 days from the date of delivery in an unused condition and in same condition it was received with all tags and model picture included.
Refunds Policy (only applicable if Exchange is not available) :
- Refunds for Online prepaid orders are refunded to the Original Mode of payment within 7-10 days and as per your bank’s payment cycle. If you do not receive refunds within 10 days of the same been processed from our end then we will suggest you to contact your bank and they will do the needful.
- Refunds for COD orders are done in form of Store Credit or via Discount Coupon code.
- Refunds for orders placed via Paypal (Orders placed from outside India) are done via Store Credit only.
Cancellation of Order by The Indian Fashion
TheIndianFashion.in reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for a product that is listed at an incorrect price or for any other reason. This shall be regardless of whether the order has been confirmed and/or payment been received. The 100% payment shall be refunded (as per refunds policy) and the customer shall be informed of the same.
Cancellation by Customer
Unfortunately, we will not be able to cancel the order once it has been placed. This applies to irrespective of the order being “Under Process” or “Shipped”.
Tracking your Order
Once your order is shipped, tracking information will be sent to you via email or on your phone through Text message or Whatsapp message (if you are a regular WhatsApp user). Please note that the tracking information on the courier service provider’s website is normally available after 24 Business hours once the shipping label is created. Please note that the order status may show “Processing” till the time it is not delivered.
